The Young Friends of Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center’s Fall Fundraising

The Young Friends of Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center’s annual Fall Fundraising event was held October 2, 2008 at the Rubin Museum of Art.

An Evening of Exploration brought 200 young professionals to the heart of Chelsea to support its neighborhood children at the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center and experience the Rubin Museum of Art’s comprehensive collection of art from the Himalayas and surrounding regions. An Evening of Exploration raised $50,000 to help fund the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center’s Home Care Program, a new program aimed at providing individualized, rehabilitative care to medically fragile children while enabling them to live at home with their families.

The Young Friends organization was established in 2005 as a network of young, NYC professionals whose goal is to drive awareness and support of the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center (ESPC), a non-profit organization and an acute rehabilitation resident facility caring for 250 medically fragile children with a wide range of severe disabilities and complex medical conditions.
