Princess Grace Foundation Louis Vuitton Midsummer Garden Fete

On Saturday, August 7th, 2010, HSH Prince Albert of Monaco II was the honored guest at a midsummer party benefitting the Princess Grace Foundation-USA.

Louis Vuitton, together with Anne Hearst McInerney and Jay McInerney, hosted this Garden Fête at the McInerney’s estate in Water Mill.

A long-standing trustee of the Princess Grace Foundation-USA, Anne Hearst McInerney and her husband Jay McInerney opened their beautiful Watermill estate for the occasion. In keeping with Louis Vuitton’s commitment to capturing unique and luxurious life experiences, HSH Prince Albert and guests were treated to a performance by Grammy Award-winning jazz trumpeter Chris Botti, who played a 20-minute set with his nine-piece band, an exciting interlude in Botti’s 2010 world tour. Guests also enjoyed an array of exquisite summer delicacies complimented by Moet’s exclusive new Ice Imperial, the first champagne designed to be served over ice.

Longtime supporter of the arts, Geoffroy van Raemdonck, Managing Director of Louis Vuitton North America, said Louis Vuitton was honored to have partnered with the Princess Grace Foundation. He said, “The Foundation’s commitment towards supporting and educating promising artistic talent is one shared by Louis Vuitton,” and that they were delighted to have celebrated the incredible work they do alongside HSH Prince Albert, whose iconic mother was a favorite patron of the brand so many years ago.

Guests at the event included, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock, Anne Hearst McInerney and Jay McInerney , Geoffroy van Raemdonck, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan and Blaise LaBriola, Robert Battle, Ross Bleckner, Christie Brinkley, Jim Coleman, Ellin and Ron Delsener, Nina Griscom, Laurie Durning and Roger Waters, Douglas Hannant, Amanda R.
