Mc Carton Foundation's 10th Year Diamond Anniversary

On Monday May 16th The McCarton Foundation for autism and cognitive learning disorders celebrated its 10th Year Diamond Anniversary at the Chelsea Piers.

Over 600 people applauded the remarkable achievement of Dr. Cecelia McCarton and her team for the great strides made in autism education by the Foundation. Rita Cosby, the emcee, congratulated the 7 founding families as well as made a special thanks to Dr. McCarton for her leadership. Parents Dr. Jacob Chachkes and Charles Esses spoke passionately about how the School changed their lives by transforming their children and bringing hope and happiness into their world.
The evening's Honoree Lou Toscano, VP Corporate Events at Morgan Stanley, treated the audience to a live performance by his daughter Talina--who despite being autistic has risen the ranks as an up and coming singer.
The crowd including Roberta Lowenstein, Penny Toepfer, Andrea and Adam Usdan, Susan Brune and Chip Loewenson, Andreas and Katie Hildebrand, Stefano Natella and Alainn Bailey, Milena Herrera Lopez and Frank Lopez, Suzanne and Shawn Rubin, John and Carol McEnerney, Jill Robbins, Elyse Kroll, Karin and Alan Wilzig, Sig Ackerman, Kristen McLaughlin, Daisy and Alexander Chaplin, Richard Burns and Judy Kofman, Gopa and Jay Dobson, Maggie and Robert Eigen, Valerie and Robert Goldfein danced to the Michael Herman Band under a sea of pink cherry blossoms.
