CENTER FOR CREATIVE EDUCATION KICKS OFF SEASON

An all-star list of celebrity bartenders shook up support for the Center for Creative Education (CCE) recently at Coco’s China Beach Bistro in Northwood Village.

To kick off CCE’s 2011-2012 season of events, West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio, Commissioner Sylvia Moffett, representatives from the Gentlemen of the Gardens and CCE event chairs Diane Buhler, Susie Dwinell and Colleen Orrico helped serve drinks to guests.
Guests packed the bar and restaurant and the evening featured specialty cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and great time for all! The event was sponsored by the City of West Palm Beach, Coco’s China Beach Bistro, the Downtown Development Authority and the West Palm Beach CRA.
Proceeds from CCE’s events will benefit programming and operating expenses for the not-for-profit educational organization that provides arts-based educational programming to schools, after school and summer programs, community-based organizations, and human service providers. CCE also trains and provides jobs to local artists throughout Palm Beach County.
“We were excited to see so many new and old friends kicking off the season with us,” said Tom Pilecki, executive director for CCE. “Our next event, Ultimate Girls’ Night Out: Little Black Dress on November 8th promises to be a fabulous evening filled with laughter, great people and amazing food. We are grateful for the support from the chairmen, sponsors and committee members of all our events this season who continue to help raise money and awareness for our arts-based educational programming for Palm Beach County students.”
Center for Creative Education’s upcoming events include Ultimate Girls’ Night Out: The Little Black Dress event beginning at C. Orrico, Palm Beach followed by dinner at either Buccan or Café L’Europe in Palm Beach on November 8, 2011; Artist Daniel Bottero Art & Golf event at the Breakers West, Rees Jones Golf Course on January 22, 2012; and the Spring Luncheon held at a private residence in Palm Beach on March 8, 2012.
Sponsorship opportunities for CCE’s upcoming events are available. For tickets or sponsorship information, please call CCE at (561) 805-9927, or visit www.cceflorida.org.
