Care on the Fairways

Care on the Fairways

It was all about "care on the fairways" when the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) held its first golf outing in Palm Beach, FL on April 20 at the renowned PGA National Resort & Spa, “Champion Course.”

Called Care on the Fairways, the event honored Dale Clift, chief executive officer of Nurse on Call Home Healthcare, Lake Worth, FL, for his selfless dedication to the tens of thousands of clients that Nurse on Call has served during the past decade. The company has 28 offices throughout Florida.

“I am very proud to support this fine organization and all the caregivers that make life better for their patients and families who are affected by this disease,” said Clift, who has also witnessed Alzheimer’s disease in his own family.

With more than 100 players in attendance, the event included brunch, a cocktail reception, awards dinner and live auction. Proceeds support AFA, a national nonprofit organization focused on meeting the practical, educational and financial needs of the growing number of families affected by Alzheimer’s dis ease and related illnesses.
