Atlanta Gallery Association Citywide Gallery Openings

From sunup to sundown this summer, the Atlanta Gallery Association hosted 12 Hours of Art Citywide Gallery Openings on August 21, 2010.

From Castleberry Hill to Decatur, from the Westside to Buckhead, more than 30 art spaces throughout Atlanta stayed open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., welcoming guests to take in a whole lot of art in all kinds of media in one day. This exciting day of art was sponsored by the Atlanta Gallery Association as part of its quest to make Atlanta a top international arts destination. Visitors to many of the galleries also had a chance to get a sneak peek at some of the clock art that will be featured in this fall's IKEA It's About Time benefit for GCAPP.
