Adaptive Design Fall Gala 2010
10/07/2010 - By New York, NY

Adaptive Design Fall Gala 2010

Adaptive Design raised over $86,000 through their Fall Gala 2010.

It was fantastic evening at the Adaptive Design workshop, where the event was hosted, and Dr. Murray Itzkowitz was honored for his philanthropic achievements both for Adaptive Design and beyond. City Council members and Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer were there to present him with a Proclamation and the Adaptive Design Lifetime Achievement Award.

The event was "Autumn" themed and had loads of entertainment, a live band, a silent auction, a raffle, delicious food and top shelf beverages. It truly was a great night for a great organization that custom designs adaptive equipment for children with special needs.

The mission of the Adaptive Design Association is to engage families, schools, and communities in the process of designing and building responsible, child-specific, adaptive equipment. The goal of this collaborative effort is to make certain that children with disabilities get the devices and modifications they need to achieve their full developmental, social, and academic potential.
