9th Annual Taste of the Lower East Side

Grand Street Settlement was thrilled at the success of its recent 9th annual Taste of the Lower East Side.

The evening was a festive occasion of wining, dining, socializing and making a difference in the lives of Grand Street Settlement participants. There were a record number of beverage sponsors and restaurants involved this year*45 Lower East Side and downtown eateries served up their trademark dishes at New York City’s historic Puck Building. Participating restaurants included Allen & Delancey, Rayuela, Stanton Social Club, and wd-50.

Taste of the Lower East Side benefits the community programs of Grand Street Settlement. Since 1916, the organization has been serving low-income families and individuals of all ages*from infants and children, to ‘tweens and teens, to adults and seniors. Next year’s 10th anniversary is sure to be a great evening of giving back to the Lower East Side!
