69th Annual Bal des Berceaux
05/07/2010 - By New York, NY

69th Annual Bal des Berceaux

The French-American Aid For Children (FAAFC) honored Cartier for 60 years of dedicated support in helping disadvantaged children around the world at its annual Bal des Berceaux debutante celebration.

The event took place at the Plaza Hotel in New York on May 7, 2010.

The Bal des Berceaux is an annual fundraiser that raises money for seven charities in the US and France. This year, a portion of the funds raised will go to support orphaned children in Haiti.

Last year, the FAAFC honored LVMH's CEO Renaud Dutreil, who helped to raise more than half a million dollars for the charities. This year, the FAAFC is honored and thrilled to include Cartier into its long line of corporate supporters who help to bring health, education, development and medical support to children in need.

“Cartier has shown such generous and loyal support over the past 60 years,” said Diane Ackerman, FAAFC’s President. “Without supporters like Cartier, our efforts to help children in need would be impossible,” stated Ackerman.

The Master of Ceremony was Jim Rosenfield, former CBS anchor and all funds raised from the event will be dispersed to charities in the US and France.
